Senior Sales Executive

The Sales Director will be a key member of the SEI Access Platform Sales Team, focusing on new RIA, Broker-Dealer and Private Bank client acquisition and relationship management. The primary purpose of this position is to fill the sales funnel with qualified opportunities, to win new distributor accounts for the Platform and to ensure we are meeting the needs of firms and their advisors for investing in retail alternatives. This role is directly accountable for all sales activities, including networking (both internally, and externally including remotely and at industry conferences), prospecting, creating presentations, understanding client needs, demonstrating system functionality, creating proposals and presenting contracts and negotiating to win new clients, both remotely and through site visits. The Sales Director will proactively work to develop their sales skills to the next level in this position, partnering closely with sales leadership, successfully selling into the institutional channel.ResponsibilitiesResearch target firms to identify points of contact and initial engagement strategy.Follow-up on all incoming leads: website, conferences or internal referrals and client introductionsSustain a high volume of inbound and outbound prospecting activities.Qualify new business opportunities and foster relationships with potential customers.Assist in creating content for sales presentationsPerform discovery calls to identify pain points and contacts while communicating valueConvincingly demonstrate the Platform that shows features and highlights value to financial advisorsGain commitment (signed contracts and adoption) from RIA, Broker-Dealer and Private Banking firmsIdentify product offerings and system features that will increase Advisor adoptionPartner with Product Management and Operations to communicate user requirements and assist in prioritizationCreate and implement templates, reports and processesEnter all data in Salesforce and document open items and unique business requirementsEnsure all sales processes are adhered to especially the transition to client onboardingMaintain strong internal relationships specifically with other salespeople, marketing, client success, product management and operationsBecome knowledgeable of SEI’s brand and the PlatformPerform other ad-hoc duties as directed by the Managing DirectorSuccess MetricsThe Sales Manager will know they are successful by measuring:Number of new RIA, Broker-Dealer and Private Banking firms signed onto the PlatformRevenue gained from new contracts signedRetention of firms on the platform including renewals for new annual termsNumber of new advisors setup from firms signedTransactions and dollar volume realized from firms signedQualifications5+ years in B2B sales or business development5+ years in the financial industryExperience at a fintech/wealthtech companyKnowledge of alternative investmentsHighly motivated, with a results-driven, growth mindset and strong problem-solving skills.Highly personable, with a genuine interest in people and ability to quickly establish rapport with people of diverse backgrounds.Excellent probing and listening skills with a strong attention to detail.Excellent time management skills: ability to plan, prioritize and organizeNimbleness: receptive to feedback and quick to implementAbility to work in a high growth environment where change is the normSelf-starter, able to work independently and collaborativelyExperience selling in a remote environment using web conferencingComputer literacy (Email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM (ideally salesforce)Ability to embrace and contribute to a diverse and inclusive professional environmentStrong desire to be part of something transformativeWillingness to travel 50%What we would like from you:Someone who will embody our SEI Values of courage, integrity, collaboration, inclusion, connection and fun.
