Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals, couples, and families to identify issues affecting mental health and relationships.

  • Facilitating therapy sessions that cater to both couples together and individual sessions to address personal issues.
  • \n
  • Developing tailored treatment plans aimed at addressing a variety of concerns, including but not limited to:

    • Alcohol abuse
    • \n
    • Physical and psychological abuse
    • \n
    • Grief and loss
    • \n
    • Family conflicts
    • \n
    • Job stress and medical issues
    • \n
    • Adjustment issues related to separation and divorce

    • Communication difficulties within families
    • \n
    \n
  • Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic practices to achieve positive client outcomes.
  • \n
  • Maintaining thorough documentation of patient progress and treatment plans in compliance with organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work at New Horizons will primarily involve interacting with diverse populations, including both adults and adolescents grappling with mental health and relational issues. You will play a crucial role in helping clients navigate significant life transitions, enhance their communication skills, and rebuild relationships. Our holistic approach means you will be addressing not just individual concerns, but also the dynamics within families.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Active state license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related clinical field.

Compensation and Benefits\n
