The General Cleaner plays a vital role in upholding the cleanliness and sanitation standards of our clients' facilities. This is a 2nd shift position responsible for performing routine cleaning tasks and ensuring all assigned areas are clean, safe, and presentable. The General Cleaner is expected to maintain a high standard of cleanliness while working efficiently and following all company and client-specific procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces
- Empty trash cans and dispose of waste properly
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors
- Refill restroom supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
- Wipe down desks, tables, counters, and other surfaces
- Perform scheduled deep cleaning tasks (e.g., carpet shampooing, floor waxing)
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to supervisors
- Handle cleaning chemicals safely and follow company safety protocols
- Maintain the cleanliness of the cleaning equipment and storage areas
- Lock and secure premises after cleaning when required
