With 17 manufacturing facilities across North America, we provide innovative packaging solutions that meet the diverse needs of brand owners in the United States and Canada.**Job Overview: **We are seeking a hands-on Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to support safety, compliance, and environmental programs within a dynamic manufacturing environment. In this role, you will be a partner with operations, maintenance, engineering, and leadership teams to ensure safe work practices, reduce risk, and strengthen safety culture across the facility.This is a position where you can lead safety initiatives, influence culture, and make a real impact.What You’ll Do:Safety & Regulatory Compliance:Drive a proactive, behavior-based safety culture where safety comes before productionLead safety programs, audits, investigations, and corrective actionsDevelop and deliver safety training, onboarding, and continuous education programsMaintain OSHA logs (300, 301, etc.) and ensure compliance with all regulatory updatesCoach leaders and employees to improve safety awareness, engagement, and accountabilityBuild and lead safety committees and cross-functional teamsEnvironmental Programs:Lead all environmental compliance efforts including air, wastewater, stormwater, and waste programsManage permits, reporting, and regulatory submissions with state and federal agenciesAnalyze environmental data (emissions, water, soil, etc.) and identify improvement opportunitiesPartner with engineering and operations on environmental projects and pollution reduction initiativesServe as the primary point of contact with regulatory agencies and external partnersOversee onsite wastewater systems, waste classification, and documentationSafety Training & Culture:Deliver safety training including:- Lockout/TagoutPPE and hazard communicationMachine guardingErgonomics and emergency responseEngage employees in safety initiatives, committees, and continuous improvement effortsRisk Reduction & Continuous Improvement:Partner with operations to identify hazards associated with:- Plastics processing equipmentRobotics and automationCompressed air systemsMaterial handling and resinsSupport implementation of engineering and administrative safety controlsTrack safety metrics and support improvement initiativesEmergency Preparedness:Assist with emergency response planning including:- Fire safetyEvacuation proceduresSpill responseMedical emergency coordinationSupport drills and emergency response teamsYou will Be a Good Fit If You Have:Education & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field preferred5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturingExperience in plastics, injection molding, blow molding, or industrial manufacturing is strongly preferredOSHA 30 Certification preferredCertifications (Preferred):CHST, ASP, or other professional safety certificationFirst Aid / CPR / AEDKey Skills:Strong knowledge of OSHA and environmental complianceExperience investigating incidents and performing root cause analysisAbility to influence employees and leadership to drive safe work practicesStrong documentation and organizational skillsProficiency with Microsoft OfficeWhat Makes This Role Exciting:Own the EHS function at the plant level with high visibility and impactBe a culture builder—driving real behavioral changePartner cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and leadershipInfluence both safety performance and environmental sustainability initiativesJoin a growing, stable organization in the rigid plastics packaging industryYou should be proficient in:Workplace Safety & EHS ManagementLockout/Tagout (LOTO)Experience in a Manufacturing EnvironmentRoot Cause Analysis #J-18808-Ljbffr
