Position Summary Our client is seeking Epic Certified Hospital Billing (HB) Analysts to support the build, optimization, and maintenance of Epic Hospital Billing applications. This role will work closely with revenue cycle leadership, operational teams, and IT stakeholders to ensure efficient billing workflows, accurate claim processing, and system functionality that supports hospital revenue cycle operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and maintain Epic Hospital Billing workflows and system functionality
• Support billing operations including charge review, claim edits, reimbursement, and denial management
• Analyze billing workflows and recommend system improvements to enhance revenue cycle performance
• Troubleshoot system issues and support end users with Epic HB-related questions or problems
• Participate in system upgrades, testing cycles, and new functionality implementations
• Develop and maintain documentation, workflows, and testing plans
• Collaborate with revenue cycle, clinical, and technical teams to resolve billing and claim issues
• Support reporting and data validation related to hospital billing processes

Requirements

• Epic Hospital Billing (HB) Certification – Required
• 3+ years of experience supporting Epic Hospital Billing as an analyst
• Experience with Epic system build, configuration, and testing
• Knowledge of hospital billing workflows including claims, reimbursement, and denial management
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a hospital revenue cycle environment
• Experience supporting Epic upgrades, implementations, or optimization projects
• Familiarity with payer requirements and regulatory compliance related to hospital billing
