Registered Nurse

The Registered Nurse (RN) protects, promotes, and optimizes health and abilities. This includes the prevention of illness and injury as well as alleviating suffering through diagnosis and treatment. The RN advocates for individuals and families in their care. The RN is responsible and accountable for compliance with all standards of practice and professional development. This is in accordance with governing nurse practice acts, organizational policies, and ethical codes. The RN promotes a caring and healing environment for patient-centered care. Key responsibilities include: Assessing, planning, delegating, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for a group of patients. Serving as a primary or accountable nurse when designated by unit assignment. Educating patients and families about health promotion and disease management. Utilizing a working knowledge of pharmacology and safely administering medications. Sharing responsibility for productivity and effective resource utilization. Complying with all nursing practice standards and regulatory requirements. Actively participating in professional development and continuing education. Integrating nursing research and current evidence into practice. Providing a supportive learning environment for new employees and students. Adhering to organizational values and performing other duties as assigned.

Must-Have:

• Nursing experience of six (6) months to three (3) years
