Position Overview

A reputable healthcare organization is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant - Clinic Aide to provide routine direct patient care and clinical support. The successful candidate will have experience in patient care and will be responsible for various essential duties in a clinical setting.

Shift Details

  • Shift Type: Day 5x8-Hour (08:30 - 17:00)
Essential Requirements
  • Current BLS certification
  • High school diploma or GED
  • A minimum of 2 years of prior nursing assistant experience
  • Proficiency in fundamental patient-care techniques, clinical procedures, and routine medical equipment
  • Experience providing direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, nutrition, hygiene, elimination, and mobility support
  • Ability to interpret and follow written, oral, diagrammatic, and schedule-based instructions
  • Commitment to maintaining patient privacy and compliance with PHI, safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and complete assignments within established procedures and deadlines
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a healthcare environment with frequent interruptions
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with electronic health record documentation and patient record updates
  • Familiarity with specimen collection and admission, transfer, or discharge procedures
  • Experience with dialysis machine setup, disinfection, or related clinical equipment
  • Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Key Responsibilities
  • Administer routine direct patient care and clinical support
  • Take vital signs and assist with patients' nutrition, hygiene, elimination, and mobility needs
  • Collect specimens and support admission, transfer, and discharge workflows
  • Assist with dialysis machine setup and disinfection as needed
  • Maintain clean and safe equipment, documenting patient care accurately in electronic health records
  • Communicate procedures clearly to patients while ensuring confidential health information is protected
  • Follow established safety and regulatory requirements, reporting any equipment issues as required
  • Support team workflows and prioritize both routine and urgent tasks effectively
  • May assist in orienting or mentoring students and new nursing assistants
