Order Entry Pharmacy Technician

Lancaster, PA 17601 | $20-$22/hour | Full-Time

We are currently hiring for an Order Entry Pharmacy Technician for a growing Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy in Lancaster, PA. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Pharmacy Technician looking to grow their pharmacy career.

• Location: Lancaster, PA 17601
• Pay: $20-$22/hour
• Schedule: Full-Time, rotating shifts and weekends

Responsibilities

• Process approximately 150 incoming orders per day with accuracy and efficiency
• Enter and process prescription/order information into the pharmacy system
• Answer incoming calls from client facilities and assist with questions or requests
• Handle approximately 15 calls per day on average , though call volume will vary
• Communicate with client facilities and internal pharmacy team members to ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently
• Maintain a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacy Technician in the state of Pennsylvania
• Previous pharmacy data entry experience is preferred
• Healthcare customer service experience will also be considered
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Schedule

This position follows a rotating schedule with a combination of opening, mid, and closing shifts:

• Opening: 9:00 AM-5:00/5:30 PM
• 30-minute lunch
• Mid: 11:00 AM-7:00 PM
• Closing: 12:30/1:00 PM-9:00/9:30 PM
• 1:00-9:30 PM is preferred

Candidates should generally expect to work approximately 2 closing shifts per week , or 1 closing shift and 1 mid shift per week .

The position also includes a rotating weekend schedule , with weekend coverage approximately once every 4 weeks .
