Crisis & Incident Management Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Resilience Consultant to support a high-priority initiative focused on enhancing Crisis and Incident Management capabilities. This role is responsible for driving execution against a structured resilience roadmap and delivering measurable improvements across business, technology, and corporate functions.

This is a delivery-focused position in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. Success will be defined by the ability to translate strategy into action and achieve tangible outcomes within defined timelines.

Responsibilities

Crisis and Incident Management Execution

• Support execution of an enterprise Crisis and Incident Management enhancement roadmap across multiple functions.
• Translate strategic milestones into actionable workplans and drive delivery against established timelines.
• Track progress against key deliverables, identifying risks, dependencies, and potential delays.
• Coordinate across workstreams to ensure alignment and timely completion of initiatives.
• Develop and refine core program deliverables, including operating models, governance frameworks, and response procedures.
• Synthesize stakeholder input into clear, actionable documentation and recommendations.
• Prepare materials for senior leadership updates, including decision-making forums and status reporting.
• Partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and progress.
• Identify execution challenges and proactively remove blockers to maintain delivery momentum.

Minimum Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in crisis and incident management, with a strong focus on execution and delivery.
• Experience supporting or leading crisis and incident management processes in complex, cross-functional environments.
• Proven ability to translate strategic roadmaps into executable plans and deliver against defined timelines.
• Experience coordinating initiatives across business, technology, and corporate functions.
• Experience developing or enhancing crisis and incident management frameworks, governance structures, and response procedures.
• Ability to track progress, identify risks, and proactively resolve execution challenges.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior leadership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including development of executive-level materials.
• Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-priority environments with evolving requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise crisis and incident management programs within large, complex organizations.
• Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries.
• Familiarity with crisis simulation exercises, incident response coordination, or real-time event management.
• Experience applying resilience frameworks such as NIST, ISO 22301, or FFIEC in implementation-focused environments.
