Audiologist – Veteran Disability Assessments We are seeking a dedicated Audiologist to perform medical assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. In this role, you will review the Veteran’s medical records uploaded to a secure computer portal, conduct Maryland CNC Tests and Puretone Audiometric tests, and complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQ) within the portal to provide the documentation needed for VA eligibility determinations. Key Responsibilities Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans. Review and analyze electronic medical records via secure web portal. Accurately document exam findings and complete required VA forms. Note: This role does not involve prescribing any medical treatments or devices. Disability determinations are made by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, not by the provider. Position Details Schedule: Part‑Time, 2 days/week (10‑hour shifts). Location: In‑person role. Caseload: 3–6 Veterans per day on average. Equipment Provided: Computer and all necessary tools for documentation. What We’re Looking For A compassionate Audiologist dedicated to supporting the Veteran community. Strong analytical skills for reviewing medical records and assessment data. Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines. Proficiency with electronic documentation and web‑based portals. A professional and empathetic demeanor when interacting with Veterans. Requirements Has an Au.D. and graduated from an ASHA Accredited School. Holds a current license as an Audiologist. Comfortable using technology to review records and complete documentation.
