Introduction We are recruiting a Pediatric Anesthesiologist to join the partnership program at Maynard’s Children’s Hospital, ECU Health, Greenville, NC. The role focuses on complex pediatric cases, with occasional adult coverage, and offers a generous signing bonus and a 3‑year partnership track for equity participation. Responsibilities Provide general and regional anesthesia for >4,000 pediatric cases annually, including general surgery, neurosurgery, craniofacial, orthopedics, ENT, urology, transplant, cardiac bedside, and off‑site procedural services. Support academic activities as an adjunct faculty member with teaching, lecturing, and research opportunities at ECU Schools of Medicine or Nursing. Collaborate with pediatric surgeons and anesthesiologists to deliver high‑quality patient care in a team‑based environment. Maintain an evidence‑based, patient‑centered practice while participating in administrative and operational initiatives. Compensation and Benefits Competitive base salary with increases for partnership track physicians. $100,000 signing bonus and additional stipend for residents pursuing or completing pediatric fellowship. Biannual bonus, 401(k) match, medical, dental, vision, and other company‑paid benefits. Flexible scheduling options, 1 day/week pediatric call, 1 weekend/month, in‑house overnight shifts, and senior pediatric backup. Qualifications BC/BE anesthesiologist with pediatric fellowship training. Experience working with physicians currently pursuing or in a pediatric fellowship. Strong commitment to patient safety, evidence‑based practice, and collaborative teamwork. Scheduling & Call Call is a mix of pediatric and general anesthesia. Average call frequency is less than 5%, with 1 day/week and 1 weekend/month. In‑house overnight shifts are available with pre‑ and post‑call days off. Majority of call coverage is pediatric backup with backup pager after 7pm.
