Job OpportunityWe are looking for a friendly and energetic APRN or Physician Assistant (PA) for our urgent care centers located in Bridgeport, Fairfield, and Shelton CT. Supplemental pay includes bonus pay. Responsibilities include providing high quality patient care, managing all patient care while on shift, ensuring all charts are filled out and medical records are completed using EMR system, administering common medications for urgent care patients, and working in a fast paced, deadline-oriented clinical office environment. Must be able to see ages 3 months and up and provide weekend coverage also needed 100% paid malpractice insurance. CME reimbursement is paid annually. APRN and PA's are supported by highly-trained medical staff. State-of-the-art facilities and equipment include on-site digital X-ray and on-site CLIA approved laboratory. EMR system is used.Educational Requirements include obtaining Department of Transportation (DOT) certification up to one year of employment. Clinical practice history requirement is 2 years. Able to perform typical urgent care procedures of all ages. Excellent communicator with staff, patients, and family. Active and current Connecticut medical license and DEA number. Experience with EMR systems and providing Workers Compensation services is preferred. Bilingual is a plus but not mandatory.Job Type: Full-time/Part-time Salary: $125,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year Benefits include 401(k), continuing education credits, dental insurance, disability insurance, flexible schedule, health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance.Medical specialties include Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Primary Care, and Urgent Care. Standard shift is day shift. Weekly schedule includes Monday to Friday and weekend availability. Work setting includes acute care, clinic, and outpatient. Experience relevant: 2 years (Required).
