Job Title: EEG Technician

Certifications: BLS, EEG certification (unless grandfathered in from experience)
Must-Have: Neonatal experience, electrode placement, prepping patients, recording/measuring, pattern recognition, wrapping head for continuous EEG

Description:
The facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center with Magnet Designation and Comprehensive Stroke Center.
The unit includes outpatient and inpatient beds, and may require floating to ICU for test procedures.
The patient population includes neonates up to geriatric patients with conditions such as seizures, strokes, trauma, and various neurological disorders.
Patient ratios are expected to be 1:1.
Other EEG techs, RRT/Code Team, EEG Supervisor, and Public Safety Officer support will be available on the unit.
Charting is preferred to be done on Epic, and experience with Nihon Kohden software is required.
Travelers are welcome but must have a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Weekend rotation is required every weekend, and holiday expectations apply.
On-call duty is not required.
Scrubs color is Caribbean Blue.
