Applications Scientist, Bioprocess & Sample Preparation Job Posting Title here

Applications Scientist supporting CryoMed Controlled-Rate Freezers and SpeedVac Concentrators at Thermo Fisher Scientific. This customer-facing role provides technical expertise and application support for cell therapy, bioprocess development, and research customers, while developing application data and training materials.
Responsibilities
- Serve as applications expert for CryoMed and SpeedVac products; provide pre-sales consultation and customer demonstrations
- Develop and validate customer workflows; generate application data and technical content supporting commercial growth
- Represent customer voice to Product Management and R&D; support product launches and investigations
- Develop and deliver standardized and customized training programs for customers and internal teams
Requirements
- MS or PhD in Biology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Pharmaceutical Sciences
- 5+ years laboratory experience in cell & gene therapy, bioprocess development, analytical development, or translational medicine
- Proven ability to develop and optimize complex analytical methods and workflows
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical audiences
- Experience delivering technical presentations and training to diverse groups
- Proficiency with data analysis software and standard office applications
- Valid driver's license; available for 25% travel
