About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Business Development with a focus on the pharmaceutical market. The successful candidate will be responsible for prospecting and bringing in new business, with a strong emphasis on a hunter mentality and a proven track record in selling market research within the pharmaceutical industry. This role involves being the main point of contact for clients, overseeing research projects from design to reporting, and providing guidance and mentorship to junior staff. The successful candidate will join a team with intelligent, tenured senior leadership and a strong foundational support system for research execution. The position offers a great commission structure and is ideal for a candidate who is looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic and supportive setting. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree, with an advanced degree preferred, and at least 8 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating expertise in building new business and a strong understanding of primary market research techniques. Applicants for the Vice President of Business Development position at the company should be adept at presenting insights to clients and have a background in an externally consultant capacity. The role is well-suited to individuals with a background in modern behavioral science methods and a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or biopharmaceutical sectors.
