Looking for a Dental Patient Care Coordinator for a private dental office located in Hillcrest.

The Dental Patient Care Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless experience for dental patients by managing scheduling, communication, and insurance processes. This position supports both clinical and administrative functions to optimize patient care and office efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient scheduling and appointment coordination
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding their care and appointments
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
• Assist with billing and insurance claim processes
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Conduct patient follow-up to ensure treatment adherence
• Support treatment planning by coordinating with clinical staff
• Provide excellent customer service to enhance patient satisfaction

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in MEDICAL DENTAL & PPO insurances are a requirement
• 1+ years of experience in dental patient care coordination
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft
• Knowledge of insurance billing and coding
• Understanding of HIPAA compliance
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Proficient in data entry
