Our client in Boardman, OR is currently hiring for a Construction Project Engineer. This position is a fully onsite opportunity supporting construction projects in the greater Tri-Cities area, primarily around Boardman, OR. This role requires at a minimum of 1+ years of experience within a general contractor in commercial construction and offers exposure to complex data center projects.

Pay - (Depending on years of experience, tenure, software proficiency, relevant job titles, etc.)

Location - Boardman, OR (Onsite)

Schedule - Standard Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)

(Responsibilities)

• Assist the Project Manager with planning and daily execution of construction projects

• Manage project financial responsibilities and support budget tracking

• Coordinate project start-up activities and scheduling efforts

• Handle RFIs, submittals, and change orders

• Track submittal approvals and ensure timely delivery of materials

• Support project administration, coordination, and close-out processes

• Maintain schedules to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope

• Promote strong customer relations and communication across stakeholders

(Qualification Requirements)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or a related field

• 1+ years of experience within a general contractor in commercial construction

• Experience with RFIs, submittals, and project close-out procedures

• Proficiency in project management and construction management principles

• Familiarity with Bluebeam and Procore

• Experience supporting data center or complex commercial construction projects

• No experience within commercial construction environments

• No exposure to RFIs, submittals, or change order processes

• Lack of experience working with a general contractor

This is a Contract position based out of Kennewick, WA.

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $95000.00/hr.
