About the Role:

As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at Oil City Nursing and Rehab, you will work closely with our experienced physical therapists to develop and implement treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of our residents. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting physical therapists with patient evaluations, treatment plans, and implementation of interventions

• Providing skilled therapy services to patients with a variety of diagnoses, including orthopedic, neurological, and cardiovascular conditions

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that promote patient progress and independence

• Conducting patient educations on proper body mechanics, exercise techniques, and self-care activities

• Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment outcomes

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Pennsylvania

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
