Manufacturing Engineer - Early Career

Position: Early Career Manufacturing Engineer Location: Fort Worth, Texas, Lockheed Martin Business Unit: Aeronautics Type: Full-Time, Shift: First (4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week) Job Overview An Early Career Manufacturing Engineer will support all stages of a platform’s production lifecycle, collaborating with design engineers and shop floor personnel to develop manufacturing plans, stand‑up full rate production, and sustain post‑delivery activities. Responsibilities Embed in detailed manufacturing plans, concepts, processes, and procedures. Work with design engineers and shop floor personnel to support production of various platforms. Participate and contribute in a fast‑paced environment. Self‑motivate, take initiative, and demonstrate a strong work ethic. Maintain a learning and continuous improvement attitude. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related field. Previous experience or expressed interest working in an operations role in a manufacturing environment. Strong oral and written communication skills. US citizen; facility requires special access. Desired Skills Experience interpreting blueprints. Hands‑on practical skills. Interpersonal and collaboration skills for a team environment. Proficiency with MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
