Overview: Sentara Princess Anne Hospital, located in Virginia Beach, Virginia, is hiring a Temporary Full Time Travel RN in our PCU/Stepdown Unit!

Department/Unit Overview: The patient population on this 24-bed unit is step-down patients in need of intermediate care. This progressive care unit provides nursing care for patients who are too ill for the general medical/surgical units, but do not need an intensive level of care in the ICU. Population is general medicine, surgical, chronic vents (4 beds), bypass patients. We are a Stroke Certified unit.

Education: Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required

Certification/Licensure: Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing, Basic Life Support (BLS), ACLS, NIH stroke scale

Experience: Must have two or more years of current acute care hospital experience.

Hospital Overview: Sentara Princess Anne Hospital, located in Virginia Beach, VA, is a Magnet Status, general medical and surgical facility with 160 beds. The hospital offers a full-service emergency room with a dedicated observation unit, Critical Care, Oncology and Stroke services. It also encompasses a Family Maternity Center with an On-site Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
