Additional Job Description West Virginia University Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute and the Department of Neurology in the WVU School of Medicine are seeking a Movement Disorders specialist qualified for appointment at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank. The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Morgantown, WV. Duties Provide excellent patient care Actively involved in teaching medical students and neurology residents Qualifications MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and eligible for state medical licensure Completed a neurology residency program and movement disorders fellowship program Board certified/eligible in neurology and movement disorders All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment Team and Clinical Opportunities Candidates will join an active multidisciplinary team including neurologists, neurosurgeons, advanced practice providers, neuropathologists, and physical, occupational, and speech therapists for collaboration in the areas of patient care, research and education. WVU Neurology has an active multidisciplinary ALS clinic and the only MDA clinic in West Virginia. Our clinic offers a range of innovative approaches including DBS, injections, medications, MR-guided focused ultrasound, rehabilitation and speech therapy.
