With production in full swing at our site in the Galilee Basin, we’re expanding our team and looking for experienced operators to join us. Our primary recruitment hubs are Townsville and Rockhampton, with flights also available from Cairns. We welcome and encourage applications from all regional Queensland communities. What’s On Offer Full-time career with potential earnings $56.20/hr ($127,855 annually), plus Superannuation paid on all hours Even time roster: 7/7 (12.5-hour shifts), with OT potential on day shift FIFO with minimal travel—camp, pit, and airport all within 5 minutes Onsite village with great meals, accommodation, gym & recreation Operate a modern, new fleet - designed for safety, comfort, and efficiency Experience supportive growth with training, development, and promotion opportunities Flights provided from Rockhampton, Townsville or Cairns What You’ll Need Minimum 12 months’ experience operating large Haul Trucks in a mining environment RII competencies (or verified within the past 5 years) Current Standard 11 and Driver’s Licence A strong commitment to safety at all times Team-focused attitude and flexibility to get the job done Willingness to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives At Mackellar, we’re passionate about providing equal employment opportunities and embracing diversity to the benefit of all.
