Heavy Equipment Operator
Town of Wellesley
The Town of Wellesley is looking for a full‑time Heavy Equipment Operator for its Highway Division. The incumbent will operate and maintain vehicles and equipment, perform semi‑skilled building and construction work on streets, sidewalks, catch basins, and other infrastructure, and participate in snow removal, ice control, standby, emergency and call‑in duties. The operator must follow all safety procedures and ensure proper operation of all equipment. Qualifications: Valid MA Class B CDL with air brakes and tanker endorsements. High School diploma or equivalent and a good employment record. Ability to obtain a valid Hoisting Engineer’s License classes 1C, 2B and 4E within six months of hire. Proficiency in operating Class B vehicles and medium equipment. Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions and to use hand and power tools. #J-18808-Ljbffr
