Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 4 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, or 2 years with advanced degree. Experience in the adtech industry. Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across multiple levels of management. Experience managing agreements or partnerships. Preferred qualifications: MBA or Master's degree in a related field. Experience managing complex, end-to-end partnerships, working autonomously in a dynamic, ever-changing, and collaborative environment. Familiarity with the advertising ecosystem, and ability to translate customer goals into meaningful next steps and execution. Ability to effectively negotiate and execute agreements. Ability to identify potential business opportunities, assess financial/business benefit, structure agreements, and discuss terms with strategic partners. About The Job As a Strategic Partner Development Manager, you'll open doors with potential partners, lead exploratory discussions and evaluate/develop business opportunities. You will lead cross-functional teams, provide thought leadership and serve as a mentor to managers and associates. You are comfortable escalating and presenting business development strategies and key issues to senior management. You'll work closely with Google Product, Engineering, Legal and Sales teams on new product initiatives and key strategic relationships that support our online advertising business. Sellside Ads is a partner-facing organization working closely with Google’s large media partners and publishers to help them leverage Google's ad tech products to generate business. In addition to business generation in their digital assets through Google’s advertising suites (including adserver, search, display, video business generation products, and analytics), sell-side also works with other teams to implement holistic and strategic partnerships across Google (including Cloud, LCS, Assistant/Home). In this role, you will resolve technical and business issues with partners, all with the goal of advancing their programmatic ads business. You will anticipate how decisions are made, understand complex business lines, and persistently explore the business needs of key partners. You will apply the strategic acumen, industry knowledge, business development and product understanding to expand Google's partner base. You will manage ads business and programmatic inventory partnerships with Google's largest strategic partners in the apps industry. You will set the direction for each account, drive growth opportunities, and align internal stakeholders to execute on account priorities. You will build long-lasting relationships with executives and operational leads while staying close to emerging trends in the industry to help shape strategy. The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
