This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: There is an option to sign for 4x12s from 19:00 to 07:30 with no call or to sign for 3x12s with call requirements (at least 1, 12-hour call shift bi-weekly).

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurses to provide critical care to neonates, including those with a variety of complex diagnoses. Candidates will be required to float to other NICU units or facilities as needed and provide weekend coverage every other weekend unless changes arise.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and perform necessary clinical procedures as per protocols.
• Manage and monitor neonatal patients with various conditions including but not limited to HIE, RDS, drug exposure, and sepsis.
• Provide support for special procedures such as full body cooling and surgical repairs.
• Guarantee proper use of special equipment, including ventilators, incubators, and feeding systems.
• Engage in interdisciplinary team discussions to ensure comprehensive care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years NICU experience (NICU II and III experience required).
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Current certifications: BLS, NRP, and STABLE.
• 1 year of EPIC experience in a clinical setting is required.
