As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol in Maury, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer in a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations with strong communication and customer service. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access, prohibited items, and other policy violations.
• Support order at the location by communicating with site personnel and/or public officials, following post orders, and assisting with security-related responses during emergencies or unusual events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
