Base pay is commensurate with experience. If you are putting in the work and doing a good job for the clients, you will not need to ask for a raise. You will have already gotten that raise through the bonus structure. Because this is not just a job, but an opportunity to practice law the way most trial attorneys would like to, we are limiting our inquiry to serious and high-quality candidates.

** Job Overview **

Looking to hire an attorney with with one or more years of experience.

** Responsibilities **

• Represent clients in criminal defense and family law cases.
• Conduct legal research, draft motions, pleadings and briefs.
• Have reliable transportation to travel to and from court hearings. Most travel is restricted to surrounding counties.

** Experience **

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice in Ohio.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, and to schedule and meet deadlines

• Bonus System based upon billable hours and other metrics. We provide a generous bonus structure that rewards hard work. The right candidate can easily earn significantly more than the base pay within a few months and can double their pay within several years. Double pay is not a ceiling either. In other words, the base pay is NOT what we expect to pay someone. It is what we pay you while build your bonus base enough to make more. We will provide the details and the metrics in the interview. If you are not willing to invest one hour of your time to learn about an opportunity, you are probably not the right candidate for us. We go to trial a lot and we want someone who will give our clients the opportunity to win. If you won't do it for yourself, you won't do it for your clients.
• Reasonable billable hour requirements. We believe in work-life balance with a reasonable billable hour requirements and non-oppressive amount of hours to earn bonuses.
• Paid Time Off. Paid holidays and vacation time.
• Paid dues and continuing education. We pay for our attorney's licensing fees, bar association dues and continuing education. We attend local continuing education seminars to interact and be seen by local judges and magistrates, but occasionally take CLE trips to multiple day seminars.
