Job Title Cafe Barista Location Colusa, California Reports To Operations Manager Job Summary The MACC Cafe Barista is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. This position involves interacting with customers, handling cash transactions, and ensuring adherence to health and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders, and provide recommendations on menu items. Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly. Beverage and Food Preparation: Prepare coffee, tea, and other beverages according to recipes and customer preferences. Assist in the preparation of food items. Cash Handling: Operate the cash register, handle financial transactions accurately, and maintain records of sales. Store Maintenance: Clean and maintain the store, including workstations, equipment, and seating areas. Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations. Inventory Management: Assist in stocking supplies and managing inventory levels to ensure product availability. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient store operations and a positive work environment. Adherence to Standards: Follow operational procedures and standards for beverage preparation, customer service, and store cleanliness. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Basic math skills for cash handling. Working Conditions Must be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
