Job Title

Respiratory Therapist – Travel Contract (7A–7P)

Bradenton, FL | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment | Expected schedule includes every other weekend and holidays in rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services within a high-acuity hospital setting, including assessment, treatment, and monitoring of patients with respiratory conditions
• Operate and manage ventilator equipment including Servo I, GE, V60, Airvo, and Vapotherm devices
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver safe and effective respiratory care
• Adhere to facility policies, unit guidelines, and scrub color requirements (Grey for RT staff)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NRP or STABLE certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of respiratory therapy experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ICU experience strongly preferred
• 2 or more years of respiratory therapy experience
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
