Job Description Job Description Full-time and Part-time positions available POSITION SUMMARY: The Hospitality Coordinator for the Notre Dame Spirituality Center is, at the direction of the Facility Directors, responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of the Spirituality Center, ensuring the highest quality guest experience. Duties include, event set up and break down, menu coordination, food service, supply inventory, housekeeping and maintenance of entire Center. ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & FUNCTIONS: • Provide housekeeping duties for Spirituality Center areas at the Ipswich facility, including retreat guest rooms, restrooms, common areas, Social Hall, Auditorium, and dining areas • Laundry duties, (linens and towels) • Maintain inventories, and order supplies • Take measures to ensure a clean, safe, and sanitary environment • Manage service set-up and breakdown of all functions at the Spirituality Center • Manage set-up of Province events such as, conferences, programs, and trainings • Make necessary arrangements for equipment or furniture in need of repair or replacement • Attend weekly Spirituality Center staff meetings • Support the Center Directors EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE/REQUIRED SKILLS: • High school diploma required • Experience in the hospitality industry (preferred) • Knowledge of customer service and security principles and practices • Confidentiality • Excellent interpersonal skills with both internal and external guests and staff • Reliability and dependability • Ability to work independently and as a team (team of 2) • Attention to detail • Requires ability to walk and stand during entire work shift • Requires ability to push vacuum, reach, stretch, and bend in routine daily work activities • Requires ability to lift 50 to pounds • Comfortable and respectful in a religious setting • Flexible/willing to tend to additional responsibilities/projects assigned by the Director \nCompany Description The Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur (SNDdeN), founded by St. Julie Billiart in 1804, are a Catholic international religious congregation with Sisters ministering in seventeen countries on five continents.
