Sales & Customer Support Associate

We are seeking a Sales & Customer Support Associate for a client of ours located in Halfmoon, NY. This is a full-time position, requiring on-site presence Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Summary Of Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support to sales staff with handling of customer request for quotes.
• Dialog with international supply chain network to help organize and prepare customer quotes.
• Coordinate with sourcing and operations team members to help maintain our international supply chain.
• Provide clerical support including the typing of customer requests into formats suitable for internal processing.
• Assist with inventory management as needed.
• Assist with shipping & receiving related matters as needed.
• Organize and provide reports to management for various customer and vendor related topics.
• This is primarily an inside position.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication, organizational skills and interpersonal skills. Self-starter with a high degree of self-confidence, passion, initiative, and a commitment to teamwork and customer service.
• Must have strong Microsoft Excel experience, computer skills.
• Ability to drive results without a great deal of direct supervision.
• Ability to work efficiently and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong team player

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred, however, all levels of education will be considered.
• Equivalent experience in the industry with a strong sales background will be given serious consideration.
• Customer oriented and motivated with excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent negotiation skills, interpersonal skills and ability to drive decisions with influence.
