Mental Health Professional (MHP)

Mental Health Professional (MHP) Compensation: $40.5 - $45 / hour Department: Mental Health About Us We are a mission‑driven organization focused on providing quality care to underserved patients in a people‑first culture. Key Responsibilities Provide individual and group psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and diagnostic evaluations in compliance with policies and professional standards. Complete clinical documentation, including service reports and treatment records, in a timely and professional manner. Provide consultation services to institutional staff, including screening committees and psychiatric staff, regarding the mental status and management of persons served. Participate in staff meetings, in‑service training programs, and specialized clinical services or program development activities. Maintain accountability for services through participation in the Quality Improvement program and timely accurate recording of activities. Qualifications & Requirements Education Master’s degree in a behavioral/social science field from an accredited college or university. Experience Coursework and professional experience that indicates knowledge of mental health counseling, group and individual psychotherapy, diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders, psychological assessment techniques, crisis intervention, and mental health consultation. Licenses/Certifications LMSW, LPC, or similar state licensure; must maintain CPR certification and any other required certifications (e.g., First Aid).
