Exciting Opportunity for OR Circulator Nurse!

Job Description:


- Shift: 06:30-17:00
- Call Rotation: Weeknight and weekend call shift (11PM-7AM)
- Unit Information:
- Location: Surgery
- Address: 12412 Judson Rd, Live Oak, TX 78233
- Floor: 1
- Number of Operating Rooms: 5 ORs


- Current Staffing:
- 5 Full-Time RNs including Manager and Boardrunner
- 2 Part-Time RNs (1 on FMLA)
- 3 PRN RNs (4 Open Reqs for FT nurses)
- 12 Surgical Techs


- Daily Staffing:
- Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 1 Manager, 3 Day Shift RNs, 1 Attendant, 12 Techs
- Evening Shift: 1 Nurse on Call, 1 Evening Nurse until 7 PM (two nights a week)


- Patient Ratios:
- 1 to 1


- Type of Equipment:
- Basic OR equipment (cautery, video monitors, arthroscopy equipment, positioning equipment)
- EMR System: Meditech


- Typical Procedures:
- Orthopedics, General Surgery, Gynecology, Robotics, Urology, Vascular, Cardiovascular, Neuro, Thoracic


- Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Must Have:
- OR Circulator Experience
- BLS and ACLS Certification
- Ability to fulfill rotating call (one night a week minimum, one weekend per 5-week schedule minimum)


- Preferred Skills:
- Experience in orthopedics, general, gynecology, robotics, urology, vascular, cardiovascular, neuro, thoracic


- Best Personality Fit:
- Flexible, caring, compassionate, and a positive attitude
