Information Security Engineer

To enhance data protection, the full-time Information Security Engineer will design and implement security mechanisms, assess risks, and manage information security events while working remotely. Key Responsibilities: Assist in testing incident response and business continuity plans to address security breaches and ensure operational recovery Evaluate security technologies and design cloud security strategies to protect data and IT infrastructure Maintain the cyber security risk register and coordinate audits and vendor risk assessments to ensure compliance and effective security controls Required Qualifications: Work experience in the healthcare information security field Previous Health Information Technology (HIT) experience with federal security and privacy regulations 3+ years of relevant work experience in IT security within a complex enterprise environment Proficiency in HIPAA, HITECH, and PCI DSS standards Experience with incident response, vulnerability management, and security audits
