Job Title: HVAC

 

Job Descriptio n: The HVAC technician responsibilities: installs and repairs various air quality systems. Their main duties include locating and diagnosing maintenance problems on equipment, conducting warranty services and quickly performing emergency repairs on certain equipment items.

Qualifications and Required Skills:

• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician.
• Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating.
• Working knowledge of boiler systems.
• Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in confined spaces.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Certificate in HVAC

Job Responsibilities:  

• Inspecting and testing HVAC systems and components
• Identifying maintenance risks and addressing potential issues
• Identifying, analyzing, diagnosing, and repairing equipment and systems that are malfunctioning
• Complying with service standards, work instructions, and customers’ requirements
• Maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing motors, pumps, condensers, boilers, heaters, and controls
• Assisting with customers’ queries and providing technical advice
• Preparing records and reports detailing work performed
• Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning, heating units, heat pumps, compressors, and refrigeration systems.
• Inspect and test HVAC systems and components for any problems.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance tasks to ensure system longevity.
• Ensure compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Record HVAC maintenance and repair work performed and keep a record of the type and cost of maintenance or repair work.
• Respond to emergency calls for HVAC problems.
• Provide excellent customer service and explain to customers what repairs are needed and what has been done.
