Civil Litigation Attorney
We are seeking a 1–5+ years experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join the team. The role focuses on general defense litigation, NY labor law, client service, and contributing to firm growth.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Draft pleadings, motions, written discovery, and other litigation documents.
- Conduct depositions independently and assist with trial preparation.
- Perform legal research and analysis, with a strong focus on NY labor law.
- Handle matters involving New York civil practice and general defense litigation.
- Develop strong client relationships while contributing to the firm's continued growth.
Qualifications
- 1-5+ years of broad-based litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense.
- Active membership in the New York Bar in good standing.
- Strong experience with New York Civil Practice.
- Exceptional writing, legal research, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience with written discovery, motion practice, pleadings, depositions, and trial preparation; excellent references required.
