Civil Litigation Attorney

We are seeking a 1–5+ years experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join the team. The role focuses on general defense litigation, NY labor law, client service, and contributing to firm growth.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, written discovery, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct depositions independently and assist with trial preparation.
• Perform legal research and analysis, with a strong focus on NY labor law.
• Handle matters involving New York civil practice and general defense litigation.
• Develop strong client relationships while contributing to the firm's continued growth.

Qualifications

• 1-5+ years of broad-based litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense.
• Active membership in the New York Bar in good standing.
• Strong experience with New York Civil Practice.
• Exceptional writing, legal research, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience with written discovery, motion practice, pleadings, depositions, and trial preparation; excellent references required.
