Office Manager / CVFM - South Hickory / Full Time

Job Title

Directly supervises all clerical and clinical staff in physician office. Responsible for day to day management duties of a physician's office and staff. Supervises and evaluates clerical staff. Supervises and evaluates clinical staff with the input of physicians. Ensures the practice adheres to Catawba Valley Health System/Catawba Valley Medical Group and Accountable Care Organization Standards. Utilizes a team based approach to all tasks.

Job Description

Education and Credentials: High School Diploma or equivalent. Extensive knowledge of information systems, third party payers: Medicare, Medicaid, and Worker's Compensation and Managed Care. Experience with Compliance Issues, ICD and CPT coding. General medical office operations. Work Experience: One year of team lead or management experience in a healthcare setting. Given training on-the-job experience, incumbent should be proficient in the basic aspects of the position within three months of employment date.
