Wood Rodgers, a leading engineering consulting firm, is hiring a Proposal Specialist to join our Corporate Communications Department located in Sacramento or Roseville, CA. We are seeking a highly motivated individual that desires to actively collaborate and contribute to our growing team. This is a staffed, hourly, non-exempt position. A day in the life as a Wood Rodgers\' Proposal Specialist Lead the development and production of competitive proposals and support business development activities at varying levels. Take direction from the Team Lead in pursuit processes and follow quality assurance procedures for document production. Conduct pursuit capture planning and proposal coordination meetings with technical teams. Conceptualize, research and produce marketing materials, proposals, and presentations. Develop and coordinate graphics. Write non-technical text and edit and proofread marketing collateral. Provide storyboarding and message development for proposals. Ensure the timely production and high-quality execution of marketing deliverables and communications. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related field. Minimum 3 years of proposal marketing experience within the AEC industry. Proficient in MS Office and Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign. Experience with SF-330 forms is a plus. Hands-on experience with Customer Relationship Management Systems. Proficient in digital marketing tools and platforms. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Proactive and forward-thinking approach to tasks. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, creative writing skills a plus. Proficient in creative and graphic design, with a keen eye for detail. Demonstrates understanding of market and technical proposals. Self-motivated, collaborative, and adaptable to various personalities and work styles. Highly articulate, have a clear and analytical approach to problem solving, and good decision-making abilities. Open to travel, with advance notice and mileage/travel reimbursement provided.
