Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the working state or a valid compact-state license At least 1 year of Registered Nurse experience Acute-care hospital experience preferred Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved provider before providing direct patient care Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred at hire Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN), Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications preferred Strong patient assessment, prioritization, clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills Ability to safely care for patients requiring telemetry monitoring, oxygen therapy up to 6 L via nasal cannula, and intermittent BiPAP Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and every other holiday Ability to meet the physical demands of bedside nursing, including patient mobility assistance, lifting, pushing, pulling, standing, and walking Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive initial and ongoing nursing assessments, interpret findings, and develop individualized plans of care Provide safe, compassionate nursing care for adult and geriatric medical-surgical, orthopedic, bariatric, and general surgical patients Administer medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards, facility policies, and scope of practice Monitor patients using remote telemetry, recognize changes in cardiac rhythm or clinical condition, and escalate concerns promptly Care for patients with IVs, ports, PICC lines, heparin infusions, chest tubes, and advanced respiratory needs as applicable Evaluate patient responses to treatment, revise plans of care, and communicate changes to the interdisciplinary healthcare team Coordinate patient care with patients, families, providers, nursing assistants, licensed practical nurses, and other support services Promote patient safety, privacy, infection prevention, cultural sensitivity, and quality improvement Provide patient and family education related to diagnoses, treatments, medications, recovery, and discharge planning Remain calm and adaptable in high-stress situations while advocating for patient needs and preferences Apply now
