For years TutorCrucher has been a market leader in providing software solutions for tutoring management. We offer tutoring companies a one-stop-shop for all the software tools that they need to run their businesses. That includes CRM, scheduling, communications, payments and performance tracking. More recently we’ve branched out into a much larger market. We have developed a new AI lesson delivery tool which will make us relevant to all forms of education. It will leverage AI generated student learning plans for both long term courses and individual lessons, collect transcript data from those lessons and use that to automatically generate summaries, student feedback, and progress reports. This is a really exciting time for us. There is lots going on and we are feeling increased urgency, and increased ability to move fast and make really big things happen. This is the culmination of many years of diligence and steady growth. We have been measured and patient for a long time, but now in particular we have a real opportunity to turn a great company into something absolutely massive. About the role TutorCruncher is looking for a US Commercial Lead to take ownership of our American growth story. This is a key commercial role in the US, spanning prospecting, pitching, demand generation, events, growth, and contribution to our go-to-market strategy. You’ll be joining at a very exciting time for the business: strong product-market fit on the core platform, a new AI suite launching in June, and a US market that's wide open. You’ll work with Tony, our Chicago-based Onboarding Lead, and work closely with our London sales team to build an aligned, high-performing commercial operation across the Atlantic. A senior commercial seat in TutorCruncher's US operation, with a clear path to overseeing our North American operations. A compelling AI product launch to build commercial momentum around from day one. Real autonomy - you’ll shape how TutorCruncher wins in the US. Competitive base and compelling performance incentives. Report directly to the COO and have daily exposure to the wider company; marketing, product, and customer success. What you will own US commercial ownership - you are a senior commercial voice for TutorCruncher in the US. Revenue targets, sales pipeline, strategy, and market presence in the US will all be part of your day to day. London will want to hear your voice. Direct sales - personally prospect and pitch to tutoring companies and ultimately schools and school districts. This is a hands-on role; the phones matter as much as the strategy deck. Go-to-market strategy - work with the UK team to define US ICPs, channel mix and sales motion for the core TutorCruncher platform and TutorCruncher AI, iterating as you learn what works. Demand generation - build a full-funnel engine for the US: campaigns, content, outbound, and conversion programmes aligned to US revenue goals. Leaders in Tutoring events - contribute to our flagship US community events, building TutorCruncher's brand in the market and generating high-quality pipeline. TutorCruncher AI growth - lead commercial efforts in the US for the product launch, targeting tutoring companies, tutors, and schools as each segment comes available. Team leadership - collaborate with Tony (our US sales consultant), contribute to developing each others’ skills and expertise while maintaining a productive and fulfilling atmosphere in our Chicago office. Requirements 4 years in a commercial, sales, or GTM role with clear evidence of owning revenue targets and building go-to-market motions, not just executing them. An ambitious team player - as energised by closing a deal personally as by developing the team member next to you. Experience spanning sales, events, and demand generation - you understand how the commercial funnel works end-to-end. Strong communicator who can align with remote marketing and executive functions in London and represent TutorCruncher externally with confidence. Entrepreneurial mindset - you're comfortable with ambiguity, quick to identify opportunity, and biased towards action. Chicago-based or willing to relocate. Background in edtech, education, or the tutoring industry. Experience commercialising a new SaaS product or AI tool. Track record in SMB or mid-market SaaS sales in the US.
