POSITION SUMMARY

· Lead commercial architectural projects from preliminary design through construction administration.

· Manage project delivery, consultants, schedules, priorities, stakeholder communication, and team performance.

· Direct the Job Captain and BIM team toward complete, coordinated, and timely deliverables.

POSITION PROFILE

· Experience: 6-10 years of professional architectural experience.

· Project Type: Substantial commercial architecture experience required.

· Primary Focus: Project leadership, consultant management, schedules, and delivery.

· Core Tools: Bluebeam Revu and working knowledge of Autodesk Revit.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Lead assigned projects from planning and design through construction documentation and construction administration.

· Serve as the primary day-to-day point of coordination among clients, internal teams, consultants, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders.

· Establish project priorities, milestone dates, deliverable schedules, and coordination requirements.

· Manage consultant workflow, drawing-delivery schedules, outstanding information, and interdisciplinary coordination.

· Direct the Job Captain and BIM production team; clarify scope, priorities, responsibilities, and deadlines.

· Review architectural and consultant documentation for completeness, coordination, scope alignment, and major technical risks.

· Coordinate site planning, zoning, code, accessibility, life-safety, permitting, RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and field issues.

· Identify unresolved decisions, schedule impacts, staffing needs, and coordination gaps early and drive them toward resolution.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

· Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.

· 6-10 years of recent architectural experience with substantial commercial-project experience.

· Project-management or project-lead experience managing multidisciplinary consultants and architectural delivery.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

· Strong project leadership, organization, communication, delegation, and decision-making skills.

· Demonstrated experience managing architectural projects, consultant workflows, schedules, and deliverables.

· Strong knowledge of commercial construction, architectural documentation, and design-to-construction coordination.

· Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit sufficient to review models, drawings, and coordination issues.

· Working proficiency in Bluebeam Revu for drawing review, redlines, coordination, and document management.

· Ability to manage competing priorities, resolve issues, and maintain progress under deadline pressure.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· AutoCAD familiarity.

· Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC/BIM 360) or similar project-collaboration platforms.

· Experience managing large or technically complex commercial projects.
