Experienced Automotive Technician

Fleet Solutions Truck Repair

Job Description

The Experienced Automotive Technician plays a key role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. Working both independently and as part of a team, this position reports directly to the Shop Manager and offers opportunities for professional growth through technical training and advancement within the company.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics
Execute engine repairs and routine maintenance
Maintain and repair brake systems
Troubleshoot electrical system issues
Service transmissions effectively
Conduct routine inspections to ensure vehicle safety
Engage professionally with customers to explain services and issues
Adhere to safety compliance standards consistently
Maintain proper tool condition and organization
Document service work and vehicle history accurately

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of experience in automotive repair
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong knowledge in automotive diagnostics, engine repair, brake systems, electrical systems, and transmission repair
Excellent customer service skills
Proven problem-solving abilities
