Nursing Supervisor

RN or LPN Night Shift SupervisorWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate RN or LPN Nurse Supervisor to join our team at Haverhill Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our 11:00PM-7:00PM shift, ensuring the highest level of care and service to our residents. If you are a motivated and dedicated professional with excellent leadership skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.Responsibilities:Collaborate with the Department Head to train department staff (new and current) to maintain skill levels and compliance with evolving mandatesLead Nursing Supervisor for department staff on process, supply, and team-related needs, including tactfully diffusing difficult situationsRole model for the department by promoting compliance with facility policies and proceduresAdminister medication and treatments according to physician's ordersTranscribe, document, and implement physician's ordersCollect data to assist in nursing assessments during each shiftGive daily shift reports to CNAs assigned to the unit before the start of the shiftReview written daily assignments for each resident on the assigned unitAssure assignments are completed before the end of the shiftGive and take nursing reports on assigned units, communicating essential information to appropriate partiesMake rounds on assigned residents at least once every two hoursCollaborate with the Care Plan Coordinator to develop and maintain nursing care plans and update these plans regularly and as the resident's condition changesAttend and participate in interdisciplinary resident care conferences as requestedAssist the attending physician with rounds and special procedures as neededParticipate in the yearly written evaluations of nursing assistants and document accurately their strengths, weaknesses, and the steps that need to be taken to improve their performanceAssist Staff Development with orientation and on-the-job training for new nursing personnel as neededCollaborate with the nursing supervisor in documenting disciplinary concerns for nursing assistants on designated shifts, including reprimands, oral and written warnings, and corrective action recommendationsNotify the nursing supervisor, resident's physician, and family of a change in the resident's condition or an accident/incident involving the residentAssume any duties assigned by the RN Supervisor/ADNS to provide optimal quality resident carePerform other related duties and attend meetings as may be deemed necessary by the Supervisor/Administrator and/or DirectorRequirements:Current RN or LPN license in MA1 year of experience as an RN or LPN SupervisorStrong leadership and communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of nursing policies and proceduresAbility to lift and move residents as neededBenefits:Competitive pay ($45 - $50 HOURLY)Opportunity to work with a dedicated team of healthcare professionalsMedical, dental, and vision insurance for eligible employeesPaid time offHoliday pay401(k)How to Apply:If you are a motivated and caring professional with a passion for delivering exceptional care and service, please apply for this exciting opportunity.
