What You'll Do

Your Key Responsibilities

• Convert showroom customers into sales by engaging and building relationships
• Conduct needs assessments to recommend flooring and design solutions
• Sell a range of products, including carpet, hardwood, LVP, tile, and area rugs
• Create quotes, proposals, and sales orders, and follow up to close deals
• Maintain relationships and generate repeat business
• Coordinate projects from sale through installation, ensuring timely and successful completion
• Prospect for new business through networking and referrals
• Ensure showroom presentation and product knowledge are up to date

Requirements

Qualifications

Required:

• Self-motivated professional with retail sales, in-home sales, or commission sales experience
• Strong communication and closing skills
• Results-driven mindset
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
• Reliable transportation for occasional in-home appointments

Preferred:

• Background in flooring, home improvement, or interior design
• Knowledge of flooring products like LVP, hardwood, tile, or carpet
• Experience with CRM or sales software
