Job Description Job Description Job description We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly. Responsibilities: * Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner * Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff * Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures * Escort patients to exam rooms, perform vitals, review and update medication list * Assisting with medical procedures, giving injections, calling patients with test results * Knowledge of medication and ability to fill prescription * Referrals * Prior Authorization * Medical Scribing for providers * Front Desk duties, answer phones, make appointments * Scribing for Providers Qualifications: * Certified Medical Assistant with a minimum of 2 years experience * Bilingual Preferred * Familiarity with medical billing procedures * Strong organizational skills * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment * Ability to multi task * Experience with Electronic Medical Records * Ability to scribe for physician * Experience giving Injections, assisting with medical procedures and giving test results to patient Job Type: Full-time Salary: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Free parking * Health insurance * Paid time off Medical specialties: * Internal Medicine Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday Education: * High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: * EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred) * Vital signs: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: * BLS Certification (Preferred) * Certified Medical Assistant (Required) Work Location: In person Company Description Internal Medicine Company Description Internal Medicine
