Seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with case preparation from inception through trial and appeal
- Draft, review, and proofread legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and correspondence
- Manage and organize case files, exhibits, and evidence
- Coordinate and track deadlines, court dates, and filings
- Conduct legal and factual research
- Assist with discovery, including document production, review, and deposition preparation
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, experts, and court personnel
- Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and other materials for hearings and trial
- File legal documents electronically (e-filing) in state and federal courts
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience (varies by employer)
- Strong knowledge of court rules, procedures, and legal terminology
- Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with e-discovery platforms
- Familiarity with trial preparation
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
