Overview We are currently recruiting for an Underwriter Media in Scottsdale, AZ, (Hybrid in-office 2 days). The Underwriter will place good risks, create a pipeline of business and manage new and renewal book of business across a few programs. This is a great opportunity to join a team with great career advancement opportunities. 100K – 115K Base + Bonus + Benefits Package Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr Additional compensation Annual Bonus Responsibilities Utilizing technical, sales and analytical skills to underwrite, price and negotiate accounts consistent with the quality of the risk and according to the strategies and guidelines for the Media product line Develop and maintain relationships with wholesale brokers providing excellent service Work with multiple teams in underwriting, Product and team leaders, operations, claims, finance and marketing to help build or enhance products Contribute to the financial performance of the business unit Identify creative solutions for partners Create new business production on small, mid-market and national sized risks 10-20% travel for broker visits and industry events Qualifications 2+ years underwriting experience in Media / Entertainment / MPL preferred Strong relationships with wholesale brokers Seniority level Associate Employment type Full-time Job function Business Development and Sales Industries Insurance Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Bellwether Staffing Solutions by 2x Inferred from the description for this job Medical insurance Vision insurance 401(k) Disability insurance Paid maternity leave Paid paternity leave Get notified when a new job is posted.
