You’ll play a vital role in adapting curriculum and instruction to meet each student’s unique learning requirements, fostering both academic and life skills growth from now through May 2027.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification (Texas preferred)
• Experience with alternate curriculum or life skills settings
• Ability to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to student success
• Previous elementary or high school teaching experience highly valued

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide differentiated instruction in an alternate curriculum classroom
• Develop, monitor, and document student progress toward IEP goals
• Collaborate with families, support staff, and educational teams
• Cultivate an inclusive, positive learning atmosphere
