Your contributions will have a direct impact on the company's operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.ResponsibilitiesOversee comprehensive component repair operations, including TIG welding, hand finishing, and outside processing.Develop and maintain production schedules to optimize lead times, quality, and delivery performance.Establish and monitor labor standards to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.Analyze technical data and engineering drawings to develop safe and cost-effective repair sequences.Collaborate with Engineering to maintain FAA-compliant repair processes.Provide Sales with accurate labor and material cost estimates to support customer quotations.Monitor work-in-progress and provide updates during daily production meetings.Recruit, train, evaluate, and supervise shop personnel while fostering accountability and productivity.Maintain machinery, tools, and workspaces in clean, organized, and professional condition.Implement preventive maintenance programs for shop equipment.Enforce safety protocols throughout machining and repair areas.Perform additional duties as assigned by management.RequirementsMinimum 5 years of experience as a Machine Shop Manager or in an equivalent role within a turbine engine component repair environment.Expertise in conventional machining and repair equipment.Proven experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced aviation or precision manufacturing environment.In-depth knowledge of turbine engine component repair techniques.Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and repair instructions.Extensive experience using precision inspection tools.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications; SolidWorks and CNC programming experience is a plus.Strong work ethic, technical expertise, and commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.Benefits & PerksComprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.Life insurance coverage.Generous paid time off.Monday through Friday day-shift schedule, with occasional weekend shifts as needed.Total Aviation Staffing connects aviation professionals with top-tier opportunities across the industry.
