Role: The Registered Nurse provides high-quality, patient-centered care in a specialized Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) within a Level 2 Trauma Center. Responsibilities Performing procedures, monitoring, and documenting patient care as ordered by medical providers. Educating patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and lifestyle changes. Managing evidence-based practices and participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive treatment plans supporting recovery. Advocating for patients and modeling organizational values to ensure an exceptional patient experience. Qualifications & Skills Graduate from an accredited nursing program with an ADN or BSN degree. Current RN license in the practice state(s) or active compact license. BLS certification required; ACLS within three months of hire. Minimum one year hospital experience, preferably in cardiac or acute care.
